Just completed my 2625 Inspection and testing course at ‘Teach A Trade’ and had a really good experience.
Facilities are very good and are clearly being kept up to date for changes within the Industry.
Lessons are relaxed and intense at the same time.
Lots of information given to you but time taken to review it to ensure it sticks.
Worthwhile, effective homework set.
Had one main Tutor called Shaun who I can honestly say was the reason myself and others passed. Made sure we were on the right track throughout and made time and space for additional activities where needed.
Bumped into a couple of other tutors over the course: all of whom were supportive and positive.
The whole setup is of people who genuinely want you to succeed and will spend the extra time to get you there.
Setting up software at midnight the night before is just one example.
Really great, worthwhile experience.
If you’re capable of passing and do the work set, you will pass.

I recently completed my 2625 EAL and domestic ventilation courses at Teach a Trade in Telford, and I have to say, the entire experience was incredibly worthwhile. From the start, this company stood out as the best to deal with—far more helpful and supportive than any other training providers I've encountered. I came in with limited knowledge, but thanks to their expert guidance and hands-on approach, I've gained all the experience and skills I need to advance in my career. I'm absolutely thrilled with the service and couldn't be happier. 5 stars all the way! I'd highly recommend Teach a Trade to any tradesman looking to build their knowledge and expertise—you won't be disappointed!

Having recently completed my electrical testing and inspection at Teach A Trade in Telford, I can confidently recommend this training centre to get you through.
The 2391 or equivalent EAL testing and inspection qualifications are notoriously difficult and prior to me signing up to do this course I had heard many horror stories quoting "30% pass rates" which had not instilled confidence in me. I am an adult learner too, which can be a bit of a drawback when going back into the classroom. The team at Teach A Trade welcomed me and put me at ease straight away. Small groups of learners was also a major bonus to me and everyone got to know each other.
The training was enjoyable, informative and Shaun (our teacher and assessor) has a vast wealth of electrical experience to draw from with which he can answer any questions that may arise during the course.
The course material is given in a simple and structured way and each part follows on to the next. Practical examinations are held there and the equipment is good quality and easy to use. I used my own test rig as I know that a little better but I would have been more than happy to use theirs should I have not had a tester.
All in all I had a great week (off work!) but learned a lot and gained a valuable qualification in the field. Also I may add that my course was free under a scheme that is run by the local authorities. I will be back soon to do my NVQ, solar installs, domestic ventilation and vehicle charger courses.

Did the green sparks course with Kieran, brilliant teacher, full of knowledge in EV, PV, and battery storage, made the course fun and worthwhile!
Because of the experience of the green sparks I decided to take the testing and inspection on before my original planned time. Did the 5 day course with Shaun, great guy with brilliant sense of humour. He added his life experiences within his teaching and it added made the lessons fly by although testing at times.
Dan, Harry and Lizzie were all great also even though I hadn't been taught by any of them, they were always up for a chat and gave great advice. Will define sharing my experience of the training/test centre and get others round to doing the course I had undertaken. Thanks guys much appreciated!

Second training course I have taken here now. Solar PV, Ev and battery storage which was with Kieron, test and inspect with Shaun. Both tutors are very supportive and deliver the courses to a high standard. Would definitely recommend teach a trade, all staff are friendly and the courses are good too. Wouldn’t go anywhere else now if I need to do anymore courses. Thankyou teach a trade.

What can I say... Great experience from start to finish. I have gained my 18th Edition Regs and Inspection and Testing with the help of Teach a Trade. Kieron & Shaun are both very helpful and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend Teach a Trade to anyone looking to upskill within the electrical industry.

Excellent facilities, great knowledgeable tutors. Really pleased with my experience and new qualifications after completing my Inspection & Testing as well as the 18th Edition Wiring Regs.
Staff very friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. Definitely recommended and worthy more than just a 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I've just finished the Green spark course with Teach a trade. This is the second course I've taken with them. Tutors there are knowledgeable and have in depth first hand knowledge of the subjects being taught.
Enough teas and coffees to cater for a small army, the facilities are clean and maintained well.
My courses have been run well and on schedule by Keiron, he has a strong base knowledge and will always keep the lessons running at a good pace and moves the lesson along when everyone's understood.
Everyone involved are friendly and helpful. Started by Harry, it's moving along well, busy everytime I've been there and seems to have new test rigs and always something being added.
I would recommend teach a trade to anyone upskilling in their chosen trade, and anyone needing certification as part of the experienced worker routes into getting carded for site.

Fantastic place to learn new skills. They have really supportive tutors that will help and guide you through your courses. A tutor there; Shaun, is fantastic and incredibly knowledgeable. Can't recommend Teach a Trade enough.

Attended training centre for Air Source heat pump training, the training was given by a guy called Kevin, Training was 5 stars from start to finish, set up for practical assessment was superb with good appliances to practice on. Would recommend to anybody looking to do Gas/Oil/electrical/renewable training in the future. ????????

I completed my water regulations and ASHP course’s at this training centre this week, I was very impressed with the facility. The staff are welcoming and the course tutors are very knowledgeable. I will certainly visit again in the future and highly recommend to anyone in the industry.
